Wonderful set of ART NOUVEAU "ECKMANN" letterpress wood type characters woodtype #361. This exceptionnel set is coming from a german letterpress shop. The characters are in a very good condition. We think, that this date should be from around 1910/1920. There are 155 pieces in this set (we hope, that we did not make any mistake in counting), e.

Ach character is 7,2 cm (2.83 inch) tall and 9 cm (3.54 inch) for those with descenders. 1x e and 1x st are made out of wood and a kind of linoleum. 2x A, 2xJ, Cie and 2x?

Were missing, so we had these reproduced (these are the lighter letters). Please be sure, that a careful packaging will be done for the characters, so nothing will hurt the characters on transport. You will see, what you get on the close-up photos.
