N E W 72pt ATF Penline Flourishes +Large Font+ Letterpress Type (4-A)

This is NEW metal printing type for letterpress printing or hot-stamping. ID: The types are 72pt ATF Penline Flourishes (4-A).

There are many different pairs, but there are also a few single designs. THIS IS THE LAST large FONT OF PENLINE FLOURISHES from a casting run during 2005-06. They were cast on the only 72pt ATF Barth caster saved when ATF was auctioned off in 1993. I proofed the font for website display. Cast at the Dale Guild from the original matrices by Theo Rehak & Edw.

Harlewick [a castor at ATF for over 40 yrs]. Both antimony & tin are lost when type is remelted resulting in a softer alloy. They are more than hard enough for hot-stamping. Used well, they will last you a lifetime.

You will not need any makeready when using these unless your bed or platen are faulty. In addition to letterpress, these would be very useful on the spines of books hot-stamped in gold, or in ink on a printed label.

One of the best buys you will ever see in foundry type. The lines of type in the font are 6 long, as are all ATF fonts. Will combine other fonts when feasible. + + + + + + + + + +. + + + + + + + + +.

I still have a few small fonts from our many years of working together at the Dale Guild and a few new types that are not yet fonted; I'm fonting and taking pics as fast as I can but it is slow work.
