Giant number set - 8.88 inch #285. Rare to find - nowadays there are not many of such big characters left. Even in the time, when they were used, there were not a lot of such big characters, as they were very expensive and not needed very often. These characters are coming from France and were probably made in the early 1900s. Each character measures 225 mm: 8.88 inch.

We have removed some dust, but did no full cleaning. However, as you can see on the photos, the printing blocks are in excellent condition. Please be sure, that a carefull packaging will be done for the characters, so nothing will hurt the characters on transport. Please check also our other auctions, we have some more characters for sale, as we a parting from some printing blocks of our collection.
