Complete set of letterpress wood type characters. We have counted 166 pieces plus 11 extra characters which are made out of metal. We hope, that we did not make any mistake on counting, but you will see, what you get on the close-up photos. Each character measures 28 mm: 1.10 inch and those with descenders 1.26 inch (32 mm).

Woodtype #73 We have removed some dust, but did no full cleaning. However, as you can see on the photos, the printing blocks are in good condition. We think, that the characters should date from around the turn of the century. Please be sure, that a carefull packaging will be done for the characters, so nothing will hurt the characters on transport. Please check also our other auctions, we have some more characters for sale, as we a parting from some printing blocks of our collection.
