Complete set of letterpress wood type characters. An exceptionnel and very rare blackletter type set.

Woodtype #347 We have counted 190 pieces, we hope, that we did not make any mistake on counting, but you will see, what you get on the close-up photos. Each character measures 72 mm: 2.83 inch and 85 mm: 3.35 inch for those with descenders. We have removed some dust, but did no full cleaning. However, as you can see on the photos, the printing blocks are in an excellent condition. The characters were stored up to now in drawers, this is a gorgeous and exceptionnel set of characters.

Please be sure, that a careful packaging will be done for the characters, so nothing will hurt the characters on transport. Please check also our other auctions, we have some more characters for sale, as we a parting from some printing blocks of our collection.
