MUTOH Value jet - Replacement Pads. Original Replacement Part No: DG-40317. The pads are factory direct replacements obtained from field service inventory. Simply remove the old pad using tweezers and discard.

The new pad will press fit over the four small posts on the spittoon. What does this pad do?

With each printing pass and during cleaning cycles, the print head spits ink onto the pad. The ink then drains into the waste tray. The pad doesn't touch the print head. Note: Scheduled routine maintenance cleaning is essential for optimal performance of your Mutoh wide format eco-solvent printer. The spittoon pad should be replaced every 3 to 6 months , or when the pad is fully saturated with ink. Replacement schedule depends on printer usage. Pads are for Mutoh Valuejet models.
